What free means
Search, the shelves, every title and season page, My List and the app: all free, no account, no paywall. Press Watch now and the list for your country includes the free ad-supported services, marked as free, beside the subscriptions and the rental stores.
Where free is
Set your country once and every Watch now list tells you at a glance. The free services carry most of the 2000s and 2010s shelves, the long procedurals season by season, and a surprising share of the Vietnamese films. The newest Hollywood releases reach free services last; for a film on the latest movies page, the rental is usually the only option for a while.
Free on a phone
The app is free and installs from the site. The free services have phone apps of their own, and Watch now opens the title in the service's app when it is installed, with that service's subtitles and its download button.
Free and legal
A free service on the list is a licensed one paying for its titles with advertising, which is why it can be free and why it is legal where you are. Licences are sold per country, so the free tier in one country may not exist in another; the country menu keeps the list honest. The safe and legal page has the rest.
